Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
• 5+ years in operations or production management in construction related industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coach the production team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize to meet deadlines.
• Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
• Communicate with management and production team to meet objectives.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Organize workflow to complete the production schedule.
• Oversee staff scheduling and time off requests.
• Monitor quality and accuracy of orders.
• Minimize waste and equipment abuse; ensure safety training.
• Provide a positive, motivating example for employees.
• Conduct training or authorize training of production staff.
• Conduct formal performance reviews and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Take action to manage production cost and improve profit.
• Inform Plant Manager of equipment and production concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow core values.
• Perform duties of the Truss Plant Manager in their absence.
