Job summary

Carter Lumber in Tennessee is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to drive millwork product sales to builders and subcontractors, residentially and commercially. You will build relationships, present product features, and help customers select interior millwork options.

Responsibilities include doing take-offs, preparing estimates, visiting job sites to measure doors and trim, managing orders, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years selling Millwork products including interior trim, interior doors, and interior hardware.
• Ability to cold call and grow relationships with customers.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs.
• Ability to visit job sites to measure doors and trim.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with customers and subcontractors to determine needs and provide services.
• Attain and maintain sales of products, focused on interior and millwork.
• Give presentations to builders and provide expert advice on product features and benefits.
• Do take offs and prepare estimates and ensure orders are shipped on time.
