Job summary

Valmet in the United States seeks a Mill Sales Manager for the Pulp & Paper industry to drive growth and customer value. You will lead sales for upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts within Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, coordinating with internal experts to deliver the right solutions.

You will develop market strategies, conduct audits, support on-site services, and forecast account activity while building strong customer relationships and promoting the full Valmet offering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, Science or Business Degree combined with 5 to 10 years related technical experience in machine engineering, process management, paper mill operations, maintenance management or commercial/account management with pulp and paper suppliers.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience with sales experience will be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the full Valmet offering while staying active in your region.
• Coordinate equipment upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts/services for the territory.
• Provide territory sales forecast and monitor bookings, proposals and costs.
• Collaborate with customers and internal experts to ensure high levels of service.
