Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Mill Sales Manager to drive growth in the pulp & paper industry. You will build and maintain customer relationships, understand needs, and coordinate upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts within your territory.

With 5–10 years of related experience and a background in engineering, science, or business, you will lead audits, on-site services, and sales forecasting while collaborating with internal experts. Valmet offers competitive compensation and a pension program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, Science or Business Degree with 5–10 years of related technical experience.
• Experience in sales within the pulp and paper industry or with suppliers serving the industry.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience with sales experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts and services within your territory.
• Provide updates on sales, projections, bookings, proposals, and related activities.
• Lead audits, on-site services, data collection, and inventory audits for paper machine services.
• Develop territory sales forecast/budget and conduct competitor analysis.
