Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Mill Sales Manager to drive growth in the Pulp & Paper industry, building strong customer relationships and coordinating equipment upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts/services within the assigned territory.

You will work with internal experts to ensure top-tier service, provide sales projections, and craft competitive proposals. A Bachelor’s degree plus 5–10 years of related experience in engineering, process management, or sales within the paper sector is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, or Business or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of related technical or sales experience in pulp & paper.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in machine engineering, process management or paper mill ops or supplier sales.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts/services within territory.
• Provide updates on sales, projections, bookings, proposals, and costs.
• Lead equipment audits, on-site services, data collection, and inventory audits for customers.
• Develop territory sales forecast/budget and perform competitor analysis.
