Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking motivated Production Laborers to join our team in Gonzales, Texas. This role focuses on operating and maintaining the mill, ensuring ingredients meet quality standards and the area stays clean and organized.

The ideal candidate can handle physical tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with a team under safety guidelines, including FSMA-related practices and seasonal shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Forklift/heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist in repairs and maintenance with staff and contractors.
• Maximize mill efficiency and crew productivity.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Follow safety practices and OSHA standards.
