Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center in Texas is seeking Production Laborers to join our mill operations. The role involves operating and maintaining the grinding mill, keeping facilities clean, and supporting routine maintenance tasks. You will manage ingredient inventories and ensure quality to LNC standards, using forklift, skid steer, and front-end loader.

Some weekends are required in winter months. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours/day.
Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
Forklift, Skid Steer, Front end loader experience preferred.
Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat or cold.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Some weekends required in winter months.

Responsibilities

Keep the mill clean, including the grounds surrounding the mill.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks.
Assist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff and contractors, and fulfill Project Manager requests.
Assist in maximizing mill and crew efficiency.
Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
Ensure ingredient quality meets LNC standards.
Safely and efficiently operate equipment with proper training.
Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
Perform other related operational tasks as needed by local management.
