Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center in Garden City, Kansas, is seeking motivated Production Laborers to join our mill operations team. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to safe, efficient production.

You will help keep the mill and grounds clean, assist with maintenance, manage ingredient inventory, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. Some weekends may be required in winter months.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment preferred.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Familiarity with FSMA standards in feed production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep mill and surrounding grounds clean.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist maintenance staff and contractors on projects.
• Assist in maximizing efficiency of the mill and crew.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure ingredients meet LNC quality standards.
• Safely operate equipment per training.
• Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Perform other related operational tasks as requested by management.
