Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center LLC in Texas is hiring a Production Laborer to join our mill operations team. The role involves keeping the mill clean, performing routine maintenance, supporting repairs, and helping maximize mill efficiency.

Candidates should be able to stand 10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather. Forklift or front-end loader experience is preferred, FSMA familiarity a plus, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for 10 hours/day.
• Must be able to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift, skid steer and front-end loader experience preferred.
• Able to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including dust, heat or cold.
• Maintain safe working environment and adhere to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Keep mill and surrounding grounds clean.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks daily/weekly/monthly.
• Assist in repairs and maintenance projects with staff and contractors.
• Help maximize mill efficiency and crew productivity.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients and ensure ingredient quality to LNC standards.
• Operate equipment safely following training protocols.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards.
• Perform other related operational tasks as requested by local management.
