Job summary

Confidential Client is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a wood products operation. The role requires hands‑on leadership to stabilize operations, improve throughput, and develop a high‑performing production team while preserving an employee‑focused culture.

The Plant Manager will own day‑to‑day manufacturing performance with emphasis on lead times, on‑time shipment, quality, machine utilization, preventive maintenance, and frontline leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive production or plant management experience.
• Direct experience in woodworking, cabinetry, custom millwork, or a closely related manufacturing operation.
• Proven ability to improve throughput, lead times, quality, and on‑time delivery.
• Spanish-language proficiency is strongly preferred and valuable in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Own plant production performance and execution against customer‑committed ship dates.
• Maintain and improve highly competitive manufacturing lead times.
• Establish realistic daily production targets and ensure consistent execution against the schedule.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks that restrict throughput or create avoidable delays.
• Coach and develop supervisors and production leads; build a disciplined, engaged culture.
