Job summary

WOODWEB seeks an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily production across millwork teams, driving throughput while maintaining high-quality finish and safety. You will lead raw-to-finished processes, optimize workflow, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced woodworking environment.

The role requires 5+ years in plant operations, strong knowledge of wood properties and finishing processes, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of operations or plant management experience in woodworking/manufacturing.
• Wood knowledge: Deep understanding of wood species characteristics, moisture content behavior, sanding grits, tooling and finishing/coating processes.
• Systems: Experience using manufacturing ERP for production tracking, inventory valuation, scheduling.
• Methodologies: Apply Lean Manufacturing principles (JIT, 5S, Kaizen).
• Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills, delegation, conflict handling, cross-functional communication.
• Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt required.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish desirable for floor communication.
