Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Minnesota seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee the Mill's maintenance activities, leading 4-8 technicians plus contractors. You will organize schedules, drive safety, and develop procedures while partnering with the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to improve reliability and uptime.

The role requires a two-year degree in E/I Robotics or Electrical Engineering and 7+ years in industrial maintenance with 3+ years leading teams.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in E/I Robotics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ industrial maintenance experience.
• 3+ years leading others.
• Strong organizational, time management and planning skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Self-motivated with strong follow-up and ability to work independently.
• Strong decision-making ability and problem anticipation.
• Strong management skills; developing team members through coaching and growth opportunities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Maintenance team focusing on safety and required safety training.
• Drive engagement and accountability to deliver results and encourage problem solving.
• Oversee planning, coordination and execution of non-shutdown maintenance to optimize uptime and performance; manage budget and labor needs.
• Oversee Maintenance Work Order System with measurable metrics.
• Review procurement of parts/services to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Maintain building and grounds infrastructure ensuring safe environment and asset protection.
• Develop the team through guidance, annual/midyear reviews, and training opportunities.
• Provide input on new equipment and modifications; standardize specs and identify critical spares.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
