Job summary

Hydro is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the safety of the maintenance team and the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, buildings, and grounds across North Liberty and Elkhart plants.

The role requires 5–10 years in maintenance with 3–5 years of leadership experience, plus an engineering degree or equivalent. Strong safety, reliability, and collaboration skills are essential for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in maintenance roles.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Engineering degree or technical school with relevant experience.
• Strong safety principles and risk recognition.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CMMS, MVP, and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of PLCs and electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of maintenance team and efficient operation of equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Ensure capital projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Lead continuous reliability improvements and preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering and plant leadership.
• Maintain facilities and grounds, ensure compliance with regulations.
