The position requires an MSW, independent LCSW licensure, and at least two years of relevant mental health experience, preferably in a government setting.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent fully accredited by CSWE.
• Licensed at independent level in clinical social work (LCSW) with active license.
• Knowledge of professional standards and ethics for clinical social work.
• Experience in brief behavioral interventions.
• Two years of peer-reviewable clinical social work experience in mental health; government setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee suicide prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives for active-duty SOF personnel.
• Review research and integrate best practices into policies and programs.
• Apply social work methods including interviews, assessment, and evidence-based therapies.
• Consult with medical, legal authorities, and military commanders as required.
• Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed providers or trainees.
• Support development and integration of suicide prevention training and policy across components.
