Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support suicide prevention at Fort Bragg, NC. The role integrates physical, mental, and psychological wellness for service members and families within an operational unit.

The qualified candidate will hold an MSW, be licensed, hold or be able to obtain a clearance (Secret or TS), and commit to professional standards, with relocation offered and a path to contribute to DoD missions.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance, or ability to obtain.
• Master of Social Work (MSW) from CSWE-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted clinical license to practice social work in any U.S. state.
• Two years in independent clinical social work in mental health in the past five years.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Experience in government settings such as DoD/VA.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage in quality improvement and staff meetings.
• Conduct research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health/organizational social work.
• Consult with medical personnel, military commanders, and school districts as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports of evaluation and/or treatment.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy; couples therapy; alcohol and drug treatment evaluations.
• May supervise unlicensed providers or trainees.
• Perform case management and coordinate with referring providers and psychiatry.
