Qualifications

• Specialized experience using DoD and DON directives to assist with inquiries on promotions/advancement.
• Ability to conduct research to support promotion/selection/advancement boards and provide admin support.
• Prepare correspondence/briefs/advisory opinions to advise military members, supervisors and leadership.
• Gather information and summarize results to inform recommendations and resolve issues.
• Experience using Military HR information systems for research and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Display personnel data in a human resources information system.
• Respond to requests for information regarding data in personnel records.
• Provide customer service to military personnel and external organizations on promotions/advancements/boards.
• Review, update and verify information in military personnel records related to promotions/advancements/boards.
• Prepare correspondence based on HR regulations, guides, and precedents.
• Respond to customer inquiries by researching human resources rules or regulations.
