Job summary

ServiceSource Inc, based in Virginia, seeks an HR assistant to support the processing of personnel actions, onboarding, offboarding, and routine policy inquiries. You will follow detailed procedures, coordinate with unit staff, and utilize standard HR systems to ensure accurate, compliant records.

The role requires strong organizational skills, sensitivity to protected information, and the ability to work across HR functions, including IPPS-A, DEERS, and related processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of Military HR services and office administration preferred.
• Must be able to pass and obtain a government DOD personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process complex personnel actions and onboarding/offboarding procedures.
• Handle routine customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate with unit administrative personnel and support staff.
• Access and update HR systems such as IPPS-A, INPROC/OUTPROC, TRANSPROC, ATRRS.
• Maintain and secure personnel records and casualty documents.
