Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors to support military personnel's health readiness. The role primarily covers weekends with some weekday work under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Oklahoma, and may be based at multiple locations, including remote installations.

Active NP licensure in the state, CPR/BLS certification, and experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Oklahoma
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred
• Ability to travel and work weekends

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system
