Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors, providing health readiness services to military service members in Oklahoma. Most work occurs on weekends with some weekday coverage under RHRP, and involves travel to multiple installations.

Active NP license in Oklahoma plus CPR/BLS certification are required. Prior experience in primary/urgent/occupational health and mobility of services are preferred; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Oklahoma.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high daily service member volumes.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments for military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to identify current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results in the readiness record using the proprietary system.
