Job summary

Universal Health Services in Memphis is seeking a Milieu Manager to supervise MHTs during shifts, ensure policies are followed, and educate staff when needed.

You will work with leadership to promote a therapeutic milieu, resolve conflicts, and support a positive unit environment, including crisis intervention when required.

The role emphasizes boundary setting, staff development, and regular reporting to leadership with a focus on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Associate or bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years' experience with psychiatric inpatients; inpatient experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Crisis management, therapeutic relationships, age-appropriate growth, CPR certified, strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MHTs during shifts and ensure policy adherence.
• Educate staff and correct behavior as needed.
• Collaborate with Director of Patient Services, ADON, Nursing Supervisors, and HR.
• Assist with crisis intervention and maintain therapeutic milieu.
• Conduct audits and ensure monthly data is collected and accurate.
• Coordinate scheduling and unit programming; promote safety and hygiene.
