Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Radcliff, KY, seeks a Milieu Coordinator to support the safe, efficient, and therapeutic operation of the milieu. You will oversee nursing unit functions and act as a preceptor for Mental Health Technicians, leading orientation and coaching on therapeutic interactions and professional conduct.

Responsibilities include real-time feedback, coaching, and coordinating daily patient schedules (meals, group therapy, recreation, hygiene, rest) to provide

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Nursing Assistant Training accepted.
• 1-3 years direct patient care experience or psychiatric care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall functioning of the nursing unit(s).
• Serve as preceptor for MHTs and oversee new orientees precepting on the unit.
• Lead the floor orientation for training newly hired Mental Health Techs modeling ideal therapeutic interactions, boundaries, and professional conduct.
• Provide real-time feedback, performance coaching and needed competency/training to Mental Health Techs.
• Participate with the charge nurse to complete safety huddles during shift changes and communicate patient risk factors and updates.
• Ensure daily patient schedules (meals, group therapy, recreation, hygiene, rest periods) are maintained to provide structure and stability for patients.
