Job summary

University of California, Davis Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking a Program Officer to lead a milestone-driven ARPA-H project under limited supervision, coordinating milestones, deliverables, risk registers, partner communications, and reporting across institutions.

The role collaborates with the PI, technical leads, research admins, contracts and grants staff, and external partners to align with milestones, budget, and transition goals, while preparing dashboards and review

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience and education.
• Experience coordinating research grant programs, initiatives, or centers; ability to apply acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to resolve problems; and complete work assignments.
• Academic background and experience in the selected area of research; strong oral and written communication skills; strong ability to think creatively and independently; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively; proven program planning and project management.
