Job summary

Qualifications

  • Has a valid teaching license and Colorado Special Education endorsement.
  • Experience with IEP-driven instruction and MTSS is preferred.
  • Commitment to serving students with disabilities and diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to work part-time in-person in Denver area.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as IEP Case Manager for a portfolio of students, developing goals and monitoring progress.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations/modifications.
  • Supervise and develop paraprofessionals providing 1:1 support as needed.
  • Deliver rigorous, culturally responsive instruction in co-taught settings.
  • Track student growth using assessments to inform instruction and support progress.
  • Promote a positive classroom culture and engage families in the learning process.
