Job summary

Albany Medical College seeks a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role focuses on advanced benign gynecology, minimally invasive techniques, and multidisciplinary care in a growing regional referral practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
• New York Medical License required or eligible
• MIGS fellowship completed and applicable board status

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions (e.g., endometriosis, adenomyosis, chronic pelvic pain, complex fibroids)
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (laparoscopic/robotic)
• Collaborate with imaging, urology, colorectal surgery, gynecologic oncology for multidisciplinary care
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within complex benign gynecology
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in MIS and advanced benign gynecology
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research, and scholarly activity
• Contribute to development of Albany Medical College's Complex Benign Gynecology Program
