Job summary

Albany Medical College in New York seeks a full-time, fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and advance its Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The role focuses on advanced benign diseases, MIS, multidisciplinary care, and academic development within a growing regional referral practice. A competitive base salary plus incentives and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school with NY license eligibility.
• Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and longitudinal management for complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Expand multidisciplinary care pathways with imaging, urology, colorectal surgery, and oncology.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within complex benign gynecology and participate in subspecialty coverage.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in MIS and advanced benign gynecologic surgery.
• Participate in quality improvement, outcomes research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program development.
