Job summary

Albany Medical College in New York is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to its Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school and NY license eligibility.
• Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced MIS gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care pathways with imaging, urology, colorectal surgery and oncology.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents with operative education.
