Job summary

Albany Medical College seeks a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to its Complex Benign Gynecology Program. The role focuses on advanced benign gynecologic disease, MIS, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

The candidate will join a growing regional referral practice and participate in teaching medical students and residents while engaging in scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of a MIGS fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care pathways with related specialties.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in MIS and benign gynecologic surgery.
• Participate in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to the development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
