Job summary

Wellstar Health System's MIGS program in Roswell, GA is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a high-volume gynecologic surgery team. You will work closely with a MIGS surgeon, providing comprehensive outpatient and perioperative care, and practicing at the top of your license to maximize patient access and streamline care.

The role includes preoperative evaluation, postoperative management, chronic pelvic pain and fibroid-related care, and a collaborative clinic workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Physician Assistant licensure or eligibility in the applicable state.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-volume surgical practice.

Responsibilities

• Support MIGS surgeon in patient evaluation and perioperative care.
• Manage outpatient gynecologic patients and perform preoperative assessments.
• Conduct postoperative management and follow-up visits.
• Coordinate preoperative testing, imaging, and labs within scope.
• Document in EMR and ensure clinical readiness for scheduled procedures.
• Assist with inpatient and perioperative care as needed.
