Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst to support the WHA/MA Director and team in delivering programmatic, research, and inter‑agency coordination for region and country‑specific migration policy development and implementation.

The position requires excellent English communication, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines within a multi‑cultural, virtual team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills adequate to prepare and present analyses and recommendations, and draft cables, official memos, and reports.
• Strong writing and analytical skills, ability to think critically, and attend to details.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, coordinate activities in multiple locations, act decisively in daily work, and work well in a multi‑cultural and virtual team environment.
• Ability to work independently to assess priorities and coordinate daily requirements with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in speaking and reading Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Maintain broad understanding of migration policy and monitor policy changes impacting DoS interests.
• Draft and clear briefing memos for senior leadership ahead of meetings.
• Draft and clear interagency reports on progress toward milestones in migration strategies.
• Assist WHA/MA with interagency coordination on repatriation arrangements.
• Participate in interagency meetings and external stakeholder discussions on migration programs.
• Advise Public Affairs and regional desks on public messaging to deter illegal migration.
• Monitor developments and prepare assessments for WHA/MA and the Bureau.
• Collate, analyze, and report interagency information and statistics on migration.
