Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst (ECON) to support the Development section with programmatic research and interagency coordination on foreign policy development and implementation in the Western Hemisphere. The role emphasizes economic policy analysis and drafting for high-level guidance.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, policy research experience, and a Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include supporting U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication and drafting skills for briefing memoranda and speaking points.
• Experience conducting policy research and producing concise analytical written products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of international economic policy, trade, development finance, energy policy, or Western Hemisphere affairs.
• Familiarity with multilateral organizations and diplomatic processes.
• Must have a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report on economic, development, trade, energy, financial, and policy issues within the OAS context.
• Draft briefing memoranda, talking points, policy recommendations, speeches, and diplomatic correspondence.
• Track activities of OAS committees and international bodies addressing economic growth and development.
• Prepare analytical reports on regional economic trends and developments affecting U.S. interests.
• Support U.S. participation in OAS meetings and negotiations with background papers and summaries.
• Coordinate with U.S. Government agencies to ensure policy consistency.
• Monitor implementation of OAS mandates and initiatives related to economic development.
• Prepare meeting summaries and analyses of events involving OAS member states and partners.
• Maintain databases and reporting mechanisms for economic priorities and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to advance U.S. priorities in growth, private sector development, and governance.
• Engage with OAS officials, member states, international organizations, civil society, and private sector partners.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for official meetings and high-level visits.
