Jackson County Public Schools is seeking a Migrant Service Provider and Recruiter to support migrant student success by coordinating services, identifying eligible families, and partnering with schools and community resources.

Responsibilities include recruitment activities, documentation, and collaboration with district/federal program staff to ensure program compliance and student access to services.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and common software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web-based data systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents.

Responsabilités

• Address academic needs considering home/school/community factors.
• Share information with classroom teachers.
• Assist teachers in identifying needs by completing migrant student Priority for Services forms.
• Conduct home visits and provide tutoring with classroom staff.
• Communicate progress and needs of migrant students to teachers.
• Promote parental involvement in the educational program.
• Support dropout prevention initiatives for migrant students.
• Identify local employers and establish community contacts for recruitment.
