Qualified candidates have AA or BA degrees with bilingual (Spanish) ability, experience in K-12 settings, and the ability to work flexible hours on a 180-day calendar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• AA Degree, required.
• BA Degree, preferred but not required.
• Bilingual and/or Biliterate (Spanish), required.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License, required.
• Prior computer experience: word processing, Excel, databases, required.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify and recruit all eligible migrant children residing in the district from 0 through 21 years of age.
• Survey the area regularly to verify migrant workers and families.
• Develop a recruitment network with organizations serving migrant families.
• Complete a Certificate of Eligibility per state/federal guidelines for each eligible migrant family.
• Attend required trainings and participate in weekly meetings and parent sessions.
• Coordinate access to services to reduce barriers for migrant students.
