Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish, able to communicate with families and school staff.
• Experience working with migrant communities or in migrant education is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the district and maintain confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify and recruit eligible migrant children in the district (0–21 years).
• Complete and maintain eligibility certificates in accordance with state/federal guidelines.
• Interview families to determine eligibility for migrant services and communicate available programs.
• Conduct home visits to share school services and local social supports.
• Collaborate with schools and parents to organize a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC).
• Maintain attendance data, health records, and required migrant program reports.
• Ensure confidentiality and comply with district, state, and federal policies.
