Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in health, sciences, pharmacy or business field.
• Five years total industry experience with 3+ years in pharma/health/science preferred; HS diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and use of business tools.
• Identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling strategies; offers innovative ideas to maximize opportunities.
• Leads by example; credible, respected resource; abilities in matrix environments.
• Preferred: track record in sales in therapeutic areas; English proficiency in writing and speaking; HCIR credentialing requirements.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet brand KPIs, financial targets and marketing objectives.
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve sales; handle objections effectively.
• Build trusted customer relationships and drive win-win agreements with accounts.
• Develop call plans to optimize coverage and frequency for key customers and access.
• Share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competition and trends with teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value with health providers and leverage disease state experts to boost performance.
