Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Welder 4 in Farmington, MN. The role requires welding metal and/or aluminum components per layouts and blueprints, with a focus on safety and quality.

Starting pay is $22.53/hour, with full-time hours Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:30 PM and overtime as needed. The ideal candidate will perform MIG welding, read weld symbols and blueprints, set up equipment, and maintain production tooling while collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• The ability to read weld symbols and blueprints for accurate fabrication.
• Regularly meet or exceed production goals while maintaining safety and quality.
• Adapt welding settings for different components and materials.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal and/or aluminum components according to layouts and blueprints.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and safety devices.
• Read labor reports and blueprints to determine operation sequence.
• Collaborate with coworkers to complete production goals.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for setup and tolerances.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure high weld integrity.
