Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Valley, Nebraska is seeking an experienced Welder to join our fabrication team. You will weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders using brazing and arc welding processes.

Qualifications

Two years of welding experience in a professional environment.
Ability to pass welding hand-on test and written assessment.
Ability to pass and maintain AWS and CWB welding certifications.
Ability to read blueprints and flat sheets without assistance and use them to weld.
Knowledge of weld quality, penetration and measurement with a tape.

Responsibilities

Fuse or weld metal components together by arc welding for structures and equipment.
Plan welding operations from blueprints or specifications and determine sequence.
Maintain and operate welding equipment and safety practices.
May operate other shop machines as needed.
