Aerotek is seeking a Mig Welder to join our Beloit, WI facility on a permanent, full-time basis. The role focuses on MIG welding of mild steel from 12 gauge to 1 inch in flat, vertical down, and overhead positions, including tank and pressure vessel welding.

Must be able to set up equipment and work independently in a 2nd shift environment. Responsibilities include welding in multiple positions, reading blueprints, fabricating frames, and finishing welds.

Qualifications

• 5 years of MIG welding experience on mild steel.
• Proficient in fabrication, tape measure, MIG welding, and blueprint reading.
• Experienced in welding with flux core and structural steel.
• Skilled in fitting and assembly processes.

Work Environment

Work on a 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 3 am, with a 4-day workweek schedule. Currently, employees are working every other Friday. The work environment requires steel-toed shoes, eye and hearing protection. Join a team of roughly 80 colleagues in a spacious, well-lit facility with new machinery and high ceilings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
