Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Welder to perform MIG, TIG, spot, and other welding processes in a manufacturing setting. You will read blueprints and specifications to determine welding requirements and ensure components meet quality standards.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while collaborating with teammates and quality personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, spot, or other welding processes as required to repair and remanufacture components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welded assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Grind, clean, and prepare surfaces before and after welding operations.
• Identify and report defects or equipment issues; assist with process improvements.
