Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous welding experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Weld, repair, and remanufacture transmission components using MIG/TIG processes.
• Read blueprints, instructions, and specs to determine weld requirements.
• Set up welding equipment and inspect assemblies for quality.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance; report defects.
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency.
