Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a 1st shift Welder in Harlan, Iowa. The role involves reading blueprints, laying out parts, and welding fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble frames, stands, reels, shafts and related structures.

You will set up equipment and weld with MIG/TIG/torch methods while ensuring adherence to prints and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years MIG and TIG welding experience, including aluminum and stainless TIG work, plus a relevant certificate

Qualifications

• 1-year certificate from college or technical school, or 2-5 years related experience.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or similar experience.
• 2-5 years of experience with MIG and TIG welding in fabrication environments.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Welds parts using MIG/TIG/torch welding equipment.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Reads blueprints and ensures welds meet specifications and quality.
• Maintains 5S within the department.
