Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)/Certified Midwife (CM) and instructor track faculty to join the Center for Midwifery in Aurora, CO. The role spans antepartum to gynecologic care and includes clinical practice and teaching responsibilities within a full-scope midwifery service.

The position is 1.0 FTE, benefits-eligible, with on-site duties at two locations, and requires active Colorado licensure with AMCB certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in midwifery from an accredited institution.
• Current AMCB certification.
• Current RN, APN and RxN licensures in good standing (Any State) or applicable certified midwife license.
• Colorado licensure by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope care to gynecologic, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Provide care in outpatient clinic, OBED, and intrapartum unit.
• Utilize limited obstetric ultrasound skills in outpatient/inpatient settings.
• Attend monthly practice meetings and participate in committees.
• Educate health care team students and participate in evaluations.
• Promote water birth option for low-risk patients.
