Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. The role is site-based on active construction projects with rotations every 3–4 weeks.

Assignments serve Midwest projects with travel to multiple sites; on-site duties include day‑to‑day engineering, quality control, and project execution to ensure design and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have proven ability to meet deadlines and produce timely reports.
• Experience compiling data and creating project status reports.
• Able to work effectively in a team across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with local, county, and state AHJs.
• Create First Article Inspections to verify site construction per design.
• Maintain and update construction and engineering drawings, including redlines.
• Manage RFIs between construction, engineering, vendors, and owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self‑perform teams to the Scope of Work.
• Review material submittals for compliance with specs.
• Assist in preparing specifications and data sheets.
• Maintain storm water documentation and remediation logs.
• Collaborate with project management to address constraints.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress.
