Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a Sales Representative with drive and creativity to shape the future of North American Slate. You will identify and develop new client relationships among contractors, suppliers, and architects while managing the full sales cycle and forecasting opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of outside sales experience (preferably in construction), and up to 50% travel across IL, IN, MI, and WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Field of Study Preferred: Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Required Work Experience: Three years of business outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and prospecting new customers and building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while negotiating pricing, terms, and concessions to meet sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
