Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a sales representative to drive new business and manage the full sales cycle across the Southeastern region. You will identify customers, build relationships and negotiate terms with contractors, suppliers and architects.

The role requires strong communication, resilience, and a willingness to travel up to 50% across GA, NC, SC, VA, and TN.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management.

Local candidates in these states preferred.
• No re-location offered.

• $65,000 to $75,000 highly competitive base salary coupled with bonus remuneration based upon sales target achievement.
