Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Regional Lead Patient Access in the U.S. Midwest region to lead field-based patient access liaisons across Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, and Colorado.

The role emphasizes strategic direction, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and care teams. The position requires 50-75% regional travel, strong leadership, and experience in pharma or healthcare reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Pharma/medical industry experience preferred.
• People management experience or demonstrated leadership in developing others.
• Experience with rare diseases and applicable disorders.
• Knowledge of insurance, reimbursement, and foundation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of field-based Patient Access Liaison.
• Ensure team meets performance, training, and compliance objectives.
• Develop KPIs and monitor team performance against targets.
• Collaborate with Hub Services, Case Managers, and Education teams to support patient access to medications.
• Coordinate with Area Sales Directors to align team and sales partners.
