Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Regional Lead Patient Access for the Rare Disease portfolio to guide a field-based team across IL, WI, MN, MO and CO. You will listen to patients, provide informed logistics guidance, and coordinate with sales partners on priorities.

You will develop metrics, mentor team members, and ensure training and compliance while driving cross-functional collaboration with Area Sales Directors and healthcare providers. Travel expectations are substantial.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree with 2 years of Patient Access experience OR
• Masters Degree with 4 years of Patient Access experience OR
• Bachelors Degree with 6 years of Patient Access experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of patient access liaisons.
• Accountable for performance, training, and compliance of the team.
• Develop KPIs aligned to team efforts and company objectives.
• Track team members' performance against metrics.
• Develop each team member to fulfill regional roles.
• Coordinate with Hub Services, Case Managers, AllCare Managers, Patient Engagement Marketing and Training to support access to medications.
• Ensure ongoing training and expertise for the team.
• Identify new patient needs and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate team participation in national and local patient meetings and events.
• Oversee patient programs to support patient education needs.
• Develop quarterly group objective/performance presentations.
