Job summary

Via is seeking a General Manager to run on-site operations in the Midwest, overseeing drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and field staff. You will build a high‑performing team, develop relationships with partners and communities, and drive continuous improvement across service delivery.

You must be a seasoned operations leader with a track record of managing large teams, solving complex scheduling challenges, and maintaining focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience leading large teams of drivers, dispatchers, mechanics and on‑ground staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the on-site daily operations of Via’s service in the Midwest region.
• Prioritize operational issues as real‑time contact for drivers and dispatchers; devise scheduling solutions for a 24/7 team.
• Lead and develop a large team of drivers, dispatchers, mechanics and on‑the‑ground staff.
• Be the face of the operation; build relationships with partners and local organizations.
• Coordinate with Via senior management and external partners.
• Develop metrics and report results weekly to inform priorities and KPIs.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to improve processes, allocate resources, and maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
