Qualifications

• 3+ years of field sales experience in industrial equipment, automation, or manufacturing markets.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close new business through in-person engagement.
• Strong technical aptitude capable of communicating with engineers and operations leadership.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Midwest territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Midwest territory (OH, IN, MI, IL, KY).
• Conduct regular in-person sales calls, plant visits, and technical discovery meetings with prospective customers and manage a robust pipeline.
• Collaborate with Directors of Business Development and Application Engineers to develop customer solutions and proposals.
• Execute account-based selling strategies focused on targeted manufacturers and priority industries.
• Represent Arnold Machine across all business groups and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer activity and pipeline status in the CRM system.
• Build long-term customer relationships and establish Arnold Machine as a trusted regional partner.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to Sales and Marketing leadership.
• Support revenue growth with a value-based selling approach.
