Job summary

SRS Distribution, Inc. is offering an on-site Branch Internship across multiple Midwest states. You will work with branch leadership, operations, sales, and customer service teams to learn day-to-day distribution center operations and build practical leadership skills.

The program runs May–August for 10–12 weeks, requiring full-time commitment and showing initiative in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A strong interest in distribution and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Management, or a related field.
• Expected to graduate within two semesters following completion of the internship.
• Available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks between May and August.
• Demonstrated involvement in work, student organizations, athletics, leadership, or other team activities.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn the day-to-day operations of a multi-million-dollar distribution center.
• Gain exposure to receiving, warehouse operations, dispatch, delivery, customer service, order entry, and outside sales.
• Work with the Branch Manager and team to understand business operations.
• Shadow experienced sales professionals and learn how relationships are built and maintained.
• Take ownership of a strategic summer project and present it to leadership.
• Participate in a 3-day visit to the corporate headquarters as part of the internship.
