Job summary

Apache Industrial Services, Inc. seeks an Estimating Manager (Midstream) to lead the estimating function and a team of estimators. Drive profitability through accurate cost estimates, bid strategy, and timely proposals.

You will coordinate with operations and business development, review specs and drawings, and guide bids for pipeline, compression, gas processing, and terminal projects. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities under deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading estimating teams.
• 5+ years of estimating industrial services lines of business, with midstream experience strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience reading isometric drawings.

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and develops a team of estimators, including hiring, training, workload assignment, and performance management.
• Interprets and analyzes contract documents and oversees preparation of estimates and bid proposals.
• Manages bid flow for the midstream business line, prioritizing bid opportunities.
• Reads and interprets complex specs/drawings and approves estimates prior to submission.
• Establishes estimating standards, tools, and cost databases for midstream work.
• Prepares midstream forecasts, bid pipelines and win-rate tracking.
• Creates reports for VP of Estimating and senior leadership.
• Partners with operations and business development to align bid strategy with midstream goals.
• Other duties as assigned; support a safe, productive work environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required

3+ years of supervisory or management experience in estimating

5+ years of estimating industrial services lines (midstream preferred)

3+ years reading isometric drawings
